Vinnie Paul's personal custom prototype Golf Ball hammered steel snare drum he developed for DDrum. Vinnie Paul was a major golf fan and dreamed of having an 18-hole golf club in Dallas, Texas with a strip club at a 19th hole! He didn't get the course, but he did partner up with his bandmates to open the legendary Pantera strip club "The Clubhouse" in Dallas, which had a logo featuring the silhouette of a slim woman holding a golf club and draped around a golf flag. Amazing piece of history from a legendary drummer for the price of an entry-level Rolex watch.

This prototype has 14 vented holes, whereas the production model had a 15th hole. You can see there is no DDrum logo on this prototype, which gives it a much more sleek and true "golf ball" appearance.

The drum exhibits extensive play from Vinnie Paul, and he was the last person to play this snare. This came directly from his home studio and his estate after his untimely death with two signed COAs and full provenance.
