Handwired point-to-point in Asheville, NC, the S20V is a 22-watt, 2-channel American-made tube amp combo built for players who want real tweed-era tone without tweed-era limitations. More clean headroom, drastically less compression at low volumes, and two independently voiced channels that each stand on their own — or combine into something bigger when you jump them. Under 36 lbs. Gig-ready. Built to be self-relic'd.

Channel One — Bright & Bassy Open and loose, with a feel drawn from the 5D5 Pro Amp and the bright channel of a '59 5F6-A Bassman. Extended low-pass cutoff like a Bassman, paired with the Mojotone's Greenback-style character to bring extra low-end weight — much like the old Pro Amps delivered. A modest bright cap keeps things crisp without edge. This is your channel for single coils, blues, country, and rhythm playing.

Channel Two — Tight & Narrow Voiced like a Princeton, but with a wider-than-average tone sweep that reaches further into high-end cut than most amp tone controls will go. More precision, more control. Great for sparkly cleans, humbuckers, and sculpting leads.

Jump Both Channels The two channels are independent in voicing and signal path. Run an ABY or jumper cable between them and the S20V opens up into a wall of midrange overdrive and sizzling top-end that makes this combo sound like a much bigger rig.

Speaker The Mojotone 12" British Invasion was chosen intentionally — its 25W power rating nearly matches the amp's output, designed to push the speaker toward its limits. That's where the 70s fuzz-rock character lives. It also balances all frequencies evenly at all volumes, which makes it easy to dial in on stage or in the studio. Studio tip: mic the speaker from the front and the back. It's an old '70s trick and the combination sounds like a freight train.

Tubes Ships with JJ 12AX7s for preamp and phase inverter, JJ 6V6GT power tubes (fixed bias — plug and play), and a JJ GZ34 rectifier for high plate voltages and low SAG. Want a more modern, compressed character with less top-end hair on the overdrive? Swap in a 5U4GB rectifier.

Cabinet 20"×20"×9" solid pine with a semi-open back baffle. The oversized cab builds robust low end, the solid pine keeps top-end pronounced, and the semi-open back gives notes more resonance than you'd expect. Hand-stained with a polyurethane finish built to handle the road.

Orange Drop 715 caps, Sozo NexGen coupling caps, Mojotone KingCap filtering caps, Hammond 290 Series power transformer, Hammond 1750 Series output transformer, Switchcraft jacks, Alpha pots. Cabs and chassis made in North Carolina.
