A+ 2010s Gibson control harness: 1 volume 500K audio long shaft pot + nut/washer, 1 tone 500K audio long shaft pot + nut/washer, wires, wire insulation, blue capacitor 0.022 uF, jack + nut/washer (NO switch, NO wires for connecting switch)

Please read full description - only because I write A LOT of details.

Up for grabs is a A+ 2010s Gibson control harness (refer to list below of the items for sale - which are connected / soldered together) - but WITHOUT switch and WITHOUT wires for connecting switch. I could be wrong - but I think that the guitar that this control harness came off of was designed to not have a switch. But on hand- available for sale upon request I have various toggle 3 position toggle switches your choice of tip color & I have switch washers (creme / gold and black / white). • 1 volume 500K audio long shaft pot + nuts/washers 440-71079 1440 (The numbers are NOT dates and they are NOT retail model numbers). The numbers are Gibson or manufacture numbers for identifying the type of pot it is (value, taper, length of stem). The Gibson model # for the pot is: PPAT-510

• 1 tone 500K audio long shaft pot + nuts/washers 440-71079 1440 (The numbers are NOT dates and they are NOT retail model numbers). The numbers are Gibson or manufacture numbers for identifying the pot type it is (value, taper, length of stem). The Gibson model # for the pot is :PPAT-510
• two braided wires + two black insulation sleeves
• thin brown wire
• very small round blue capacitor (which I believe has a value of 0.022 uF) NO marking(s) on cap. Value I provided is based on online research info.
• jack + nuts/washers

Several years ago I parted out a new Gibson guitar (I kind of don't remember what model it was). This was sometime in early to mid 2010s (the guitar was also from the early to mid 2010s - but sorry - I don't remember the exact year made). As far as the model guitar this control harness came off of - I was thinking (and was very sure) it was from either a LP Jr or a LP Special (because I remember buying a few of them - with the satin / faded / worn finish - around this time for re-selling). But since both pots have long stems - I don't know [since LP Jrs and LP Specials have FLAT Tops) - they do NOT have carved tops].

• But there is an extra nut on each pot - so you can adjust the height of the stem when installed- so maybe it was from an early to mid 2010s LP Jr of LP Special (that had room in the control cavity route to accommodate long stem pots. Also - I recently did some research - and on some forums or sites - I read that - that is what Gibson was doing.
• Anyway - if you're looking at this listing - I'm very sure that you know about Gibsons - and that if space allows in the control cavity of your guitar - these long stem pots can be put in other model flat top body guitars like an SG or The Hawk, etc. And that long stem pots are what is normally used on carved top bodies.
• And as you probably already know - even though this is a Gibson control harness - it's not exclusively for installing on Gibson guitars.

Back to info about what's for sale in the listing that you're looking at now:

The parts function properly. The pots are NOT scratchy. The solder connections are good.

Since the back side of each pot has solder & wires over the Gibson USA logo / imprint -- this logo / imprint is not visible in the pictures. You can kind of see a little part of it in person.

But the number imprint on the outer narrow sides let you know that these are Gibson pots: 440-71079 1440. And this info / imprint identifies that these are Gibson Long Stem 500K Audio Taper pots.

This control harness will be securely packed -- but there is a chance that a wire might get become unattached and need to be attached / resoldered back on.
