Based on classic Gibson parlor acoustics, the Blues King Studio’s smaller parlor-sized body and shorter 24.75” scale length make it an excellent choice for a first guitar for younger players and a solid choice for smaller-statured players. The Blues King Studio has a layered, L-00-style mahogany body with single-ply cream binding on the top and back and a solid spruce top for a responsive, balanced tone with excellent dynamic range that sounds even better as it ages. The mahogany neck is attached to the body with a glued-in tapered dovetail neck-to-body joint and features a comfortable Rounded C profile. The neck is capped with a rosewood fretboard equipped with 19 standard frets and adorned with simple pearloid dot inlays. The other ends of the strings are routed over a compensated plastic saddle and are anchored to the rectangular rosewood bridge with ivory-colored bridge pins.
