These guitars were built like tanks. The two original Johnny Smith pickups work great. The binding around the body looks exceptional considering these were notorious for the binding "gassing" and chipping away. The binding along the fretboard shows some ware. The neck is chunky and this guitar sounds fantastic. I really hate to part with this one but I recently purchased a L5. Now I gotta pay the fiddler. It does not come with a hard shell case but will be packed safely and securely.
