2004 50th-Anniversary Edition 1954 reissue Custom Shop
This model was made in 2004 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Stratocaster. It's a limited edition produced by Fender’s Custom Shop. These Strat reissues were made by Fender's Master Builders.
These are highly collectible because they’re very faithful recreations of the original 1954 Strat, down to materials, tooling, and even plastic parts. The pickups were hand-wound by Abigail Ybarra, who has a legendary status in Fender’s history.
2004 Fender 50th Anniversary Limited Release '54 Stratocaster Relic! Masterbuilt in the USA at the Fender Custom Shop by Masterbuilder Dennis Galuszka. Reliced 2-Tone Sunburst finish on nicely figured double-cut Ash body. Maple neck and 21-fret board with black dot inlays. Tone supplied by a trio of 1954 Strat singlecoils. Nickel and Chrome hardware. All original with no mods, breaks, or repairs. Ships in its very cool period-correct original 50th Anniversary hardshell case with all paperwork and accessories pictured, including certificate of authenticity.
