The MXR Phase 90 hasn’t earned its legendary status among effects pedals for nothing. With its simple design centered around a single “Speed” control to set the phaser rate, it’s incredibly intuitive to use, letting you dial in the perfect sound in no time. Its range spans from subtle shimmer to deep, dramatic modulation. To mark its 50th anniversary, MXR is releasing a limited edition of the iconic Phase 90, distinguished by an exclusive gold housing. Technically, the pedal stays completely true to the original classic, delivering the same warm, organic phaser tone that has graced countless stages and studio recordings for decades. The anniversary version therefore offers the same dependable performance and tonal versatility as the standard model, but with a striking look that makes this special edition a true collector’s piece.
