Assembled from Warmoth and other parts sources, this guitar has the classic look of one of Fender's "heritage" instruments, but with some custom upgrades.

• Locally-sourced Planet Tone Blues Heritage 4-lead pickups
• Matching Planet Tone treble bleed circuit
• Coil split and wired to a ToneShaper "Big Apple" wiring kit, including a 5 position switch (instead of the standard 3 position). Positions 2 (bridge single-coil + neck single-coil) and 4 (neck single-coil) mimic single coil sounds reminiscent of a Stratocaster®.
• "Tummy cut" and "forearm cut" for more comfort

For this one, an appropriate description would be "looks like a Tele®, feels like a Strat®, sounds like a Les Paul® but with more versatility".

NOTE: I originally was going to put EMG pickups in this which required a battery, but changed my mind after the body had been routed. So, I installed a battery box and the wiring is routed into the control cavity, but it's unconnected. Also, the door on the battery box is really tight, but not really an issue because it's unused.
