The Eastman FV680CE-GB is a Thorell/Vignola Signature Gypsy Jazz guitar that represents the upper tier of Eastman's archtop craftsmanship — and the Goldburst finish makes it as visually stunning as it is sonically exceptional. Built on a 15" body with an AAA tight-grained spruce top over flamed mahogany back and sides, this guitar produces the warm, complex, projecting voice that Gypsy Jazz demands, with the added versatility of a Lollar Johnny Smith floating pickup for amplified performance. Thumbwheel volume and tone controls are mounted discreetly on the pickguard, keeping the acoustic character of the instrument intact. Gold Gotoh tuners, an ebony bridge and pickguard, Thorell-style tailpiece, and 4-ply ivoroid binding complete a guitar built for the serious jazz player. Includes a hardshell case.
