Mandolin is in great shape for the age. It has a super low serial number of 00040 and was made in Japan. Does not come with case unfortunately. No dents, dings, only minor swirl/wear marks from playing in the top coat. One small area near neck has a small chip in the finish, not in the wood itself. Visible in the photos.
The information on-line about this item all says it has a solid Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides and is Japanese made.
It will need new strings and a set up like most used musical instruments you buy.
