There’s a mark on the back shown in the photo. Not sure if this was part of the relic or happened after it was bought. i bought it used last year. it’s a wonderful sounding and playing guitar. incredible quality. whilst it’s probably my best sounding guitar I’ve realised I’m not a semi hollow kinda guy. I’ve also pulled the trigger on yet another guitar and if I don’t sell sometjing my Mrs might actually kill me 😯.
Take a look at the various reviews on these guitars. The quality is outstanding. Some reviewers say they’re closer to Gibson custom shop than the standard series of 335/355 types. I believe the finish is the antique varnish. it’s got the aged relic look to it. Don’t expect pristine shiny looks, it’s not a guitar that can be buffed up to a shine and always has that finger print type marks and smudges on its finish. frets and ebony fingerboard are fantastic on it. it’s my only guitar I’ve not upgraded at all and so better sell this than another and lose money on mods which is often the case.
