One of you guys will know better than me, is it candy apple red or transparent red? I’d lean towards transparent because you can see some of the grain through but that could also come with age. Regardless, what a treat this thing is. The best way I’ve heard it described is what John Mayer calls the “buttery” feel on Fenders, this one has that. And just look at it, that can only happen with age. Condition wise it’s clearly 60 years old. Finish wear, finish cracks, etc. but structurally sound. Everything works as it should. I do believe it to be all original, with the exception of the original pickguard being in the case, it cracked and needed to be replaced. I think it plays beautifully but as always I recommend a set up and new strings to your liking. Comes in what I believe is the OHSC. Thanks for looking!
