This is a genuine 2025 Fender FSR American Vintage II 1966 Jazzmaster loaded pickguard in 3-ply Eggshell White from the 2025 Black model in mint condition with the protective plastic still on the pickguard. Also note that I had a couple of these so consider them stock pics but looks the same, is the same model, etc.
What makes this very different from the standard AV II 66 version is that instead of the Pure Vintage '65/AV II '66 gray bobbin pickups they come with hotter Custom Shop Fat 60s pickups black bobbin pickups only available on this model. The standard '66 pickups are rated around 6.8k / 3.2h while these are around 8k / 4.5h for a much throatier sound. Aside from the black bobbins and yellow lead wire on the bridge pickup they still share the plain enamel magnet wire, Alnico 5 magnets and vintage cloth push back wire. These pickups are awesome.
In addition to the Custom Shop Fat 60s pickups it also includes the shielding plates (pickguard back and pickup bottoms), full wiring harness, knobs, mounting screws, etc. everything you see in the pictures.
Also a quick note about the color of the pickguard itself, while the listings for this guitar say that it is 3-ply Parchment, it is actually 3-ply Eggshell which is slightly lighter than White, but not as dark as Parchment. This Eggshell pickguard is also rare because it was discontinued before the AV II '66 series but brought back for this one.
Great upgrade for your American or MIM Jazzmaster and ready to drop in with minimal soldering!
