Versatile laminated construction

Built with a laminated spruce top and laminated sapele back and sides, the Fender California Standard Monterey E delivers a vibrant, balanced tone that stays consistent every time you play. The durable laminate build offers extra resistance to humidity and temperature changes, making it a dependable option for both home and travel.

Comfortable slim neck profile

The slim “C” shaped okoume neck is designed for smooth, easy play across a wide range of styles. Paired with a walnut fingerboard and a comfortable 12-inch radius, it gives your hands a natural, relaxed feel for chords, leads and everything in between.

Onboard electronics and tuner

Equipped with Fender’s built-in electronics, the Monterey E makes live performance and recording simple. The onboard preamp features volume and tone controls, while the integrated digital tuner keeps your tuning locked in, so you stay pitch-perfect without needing extra gear on stage or in the studio.

Classic Fender styling

With its 3-Color Sunburst gloss finish and iconic 6-in-line headstock, the Monterey E blends vintage Fender looks with modern functionality. Chrome hardware, die-cast sealed tuners and a single-ply black pickguard complete the design, giving you a guitar that sounds and looks great every time you pick it up.
