FruitFX CloudDriver Pedal FAQs

How will the FruitFX CloudDriver pedal handle piezo pickups?
The FruitFX CloudDriver is an excellent match for piezo pickups. Unlike many traditional overdrive pedals that can sound harsh or overly compressed with piezo-equipped instruments, the CloudDriver is designed with a transparent, high-headroom circuit that preserves the natural tone and dynamics of your instrument. Its unique Clear control lets you blend in your clean signal, helping maintain the clarity, articulation, and acoustic character that piezo pickups are known for while adding just the right amount of warmth and drive. Whether you're using an acoustic-electric guitar, violin, or another piezo-equipped instrument, the CloudDriver delivers a natural, musical overdrive without masking your instrument's unique voice.
