This is a vintage bassoon, and it has been used. It was owned by the owner of Ted Brown Music and has been well cared for over the years. It was recently serviced by our repair shop and plays beautifully. Includes the original case and an assortment of accessories.
The bassoon is in wonderful condition, with no significant scratches or dents. There is some minor discoloration around the silver keys in some areas. The case shows signs of wear but functions perfectly and does not have an old "musty case" smell. The included accessories all show signs of wear but still function.

This Schreiber bassoon with its excellent intonation and wonderful sound offers the musician the best possibilities for further development. This bassoon has a standard key system with a whisper key lock, a second ring-finger Bb key, and C# trill key for the left-hand index finger.
