This guitar appears to be completely original with the exception of the pickguard (still old). There are NO repairs we have found to note, the entire guitars finish was properly checked and there are no signs of refinishing, or over spray.
Condition Description:
This Vintage Gibson Tenor is a great playing and sounding guitar. It does show average wear, scratch's, dings and marks here and there, but still a very clean vintage piece. Please view all pictures for its overall cosmetic condition. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with minimal wear and plays great as it sits with very low action and saddle room for fine tuning (see pics). The buckle rash is minimal and the finish has a nice vintage patina. The original tuners are in excellent condition without issue. The headstock is in great shape and the back of the neck has marks from capo use over the years as pictured (see pics). My pics are very descriptive, so please be sure to view them all!
If your a player or collector, this Gibson Tenor will make a great addition! Its just a great playing/sounding guitar. Although, I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility to have it set up to your liking.
The Included Chip Board Case is most likely not the original, in good condition and fits the guitar properly. The case does show wear from age and use, but still does its job
