A great sounding, great playing vintage American Stratocaster from almost 50 years ago!

It’s seen some use, and a previous owner whose initials were GP was very proud. Note the extra long white plastic back cover, which somebody made for it at some point in order to cover the GP initials carved into the back. I did my best to photo the worst of the nicks and dings but there could be some not pictured as well. It’s in great shape for its age, but definitely not mint.

It looks like someone might’ve had some kind of after-market string tree or something mounted to the headstock at some point, leaving 4 small holes behind. I made no effort to fill or hide them, but it would not be difficult to do so.

Weight is 9.579 lbs. Definitely not feather light by today’s standards, but light for the time.

Bridge is a quality Dimarzio bridge, which may or may not be original. Fender did some occasional shopping out of parts production, back then so who knows. I guess rather than speculate on what is original and what’s not, I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

All in all it’s a great guitar that anyone would be proud to own. This is your chance to own your piece of American guitar history.
