Here we have a cool 2023 Fender American Vintage II ’73 Stratocaster! This one features a Lake Placid Blue finish and is in excellent condition.
Specs include an ash body, maple neck, maple fingerboard, 7.25” radius and vintage tall fret wire. It has a 3-bolt neck joint, bullet style truss rod and of course the iconic large ‘70s headstock shape. It’s loaded with a set of Pure Vintage ’73 Single Coil Stratocaster pickups.
The guitar is in great shape and appears to have been played very little. There are a couple small spots where the protective plastic is still on the guard. The finish and hardware mostly present in like new condition, though when inspected closely you can see some light signs of handling and play.
The guitar weighs 8lbs 2oz. The neck measures .800 to .860 at the 1st and 12th. It has a 1973 “C” neck profile which has medium depth and a fairly oval feel. It stays fairly consistent in depth too until it begins to blend into the heel. The guitar has excellent clarity and twang. It has a nice low mid band off the body too, we presume from the ash. It plays well overall and really nails the vibe of an early 70s Fender!
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the tremolo arm, bridge cover and hang tags.
