Walrus Audio Qi Etherealizer Multi-Effects Pedal – Black – New

Designed in collaboration with math-rock virtuoso Yvette Young (Covet), the Walrus Audio Qi Etherealizer is a multi-effects powerhouse built to push the boundaries of sonic exploration. Combining chorus, delay, grain, and reverb into a single pedal, the Qi transforms ordinary guitar tones into shimmering, textural soundscapes that range from beautifully lush to delightfully chaotic.

The Qi features three dedicated effects sections—two choruses, a tap-tempo-enabled digital delay, and two Grainvoices—all of which can run in series (Chorus → Delay → Grain) or in parallel (summed together). Each section offers deep parameter control, letting you sculpt and morph your tone in endless ways. The global control section adds a Mix/Dry knob, a resonant lowpass filter (Tone), and a Space control for lush reverb ranging from intimate room reflections to cavernous echoes.

For performance flexibility, the Qi Etherealizer includes true stereo I/O, tap tempo, freeze function, 3 onboard preset slots, and 1/8" MIDI In/Thru ports for external control. A USB-C port is also provided for future firmware updates.

Whether you’re crafting evolving ambient passages or pushing into experimental territory, the Qi encourages you—just as Yvette says—“to sound a little less guitar-y and more... magical.”
