Sweet little late 70's Ludwig piccolo drum! 13x3. Tunes up and sounds great. New heads and snare wires.
The lugs on this model were prone to fail, but none of these have! I removed all the lugs for cleaning and polish. There were slight indents on the lug shafts that were from stress on the batterhead side, but not on the snare side. When I re-attached them I turned them over so the stronger side is toward the batter head.
There is some very minor pitting on the shell and very slight pitting on some of the lugs.
The strainer works great.
Overall a really cool old snare!
I have two of these for sale. This one is the nicer of the two. Check out my store if you'd like to save a few bucks on the other one (which is still pretty nice!)
