This is my Strandberg OS7 that I obtained second hand. This is from the production line when it was made in Korea briefly from 2015-2016, back when Strandberg was really on their game. These get MUCH closer to the USA Washburn Custom shop level of quality than the modern production line. The overall quality compared to the new Strandberg stuff, like NX line, is much higher. This specific model is somewhat harder to find, especially with a rosewood fretboard. It has a full thickness flamed maple top and a matching electronics cavity cover all with a natural finish rather than having it covered up with weird colored dyes or paint etc. The hardware is in good condition--of note, you can buy modern hardware from Strandberg to replace the bridge if you find you do not like the amount force required to turn the tuning peg. It has not been a problem to me. To be honest, this hardware feels sturdier and is made with less plastic material than the NX bridges. That being said, both the older bridge (like this one) and the NX bridges seem to perform at the same level in my experience. There are some minor dents/scratches as pictured. The EMG pickups sound great; not too much of a surprise there. The small dent on the neck is barely perceivable and difficult to see in the picture.
