This is a 1967 Hofner 500/1 Violin Bass in excellent original condition... Very little played and meticulously kept since new...Very straight neck with nearly perfect original frets... The only work is a replacement Rhythm/Solo switch that must have been replaced many years ago.. Case is also near perfect showing no wear and comes with the original key.. This is a rare and beautiful piece in this condition. There is some finish checking on the top and one small binding separation as shown in the last photo.very minor. Can be seen and played in Mid-town Ventura.. I will also ship fully insured for $175 in USA. Can also be picked up in Ventura CA.
