Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a mint, as new, 2023 Fender Artist Series Souichiro Yamauchi Stratocaster Custom with all the case candy, the original premium padded Fender Gig Bag, and the protecto plastic still in tact.  The striated slab Rosewood fretboard is eye catching to say the least.  This took a minute for us to take in with the Wide Range Humbucker and Tele Bridge combo in a Strat body.  Once we plugged it in, it was love.  The premium lightweight Ash body has an acoustic resonance and chime that's oh so nice.   And the full U shaped neck profile is one of the best from Fender in any era or production plant.  You get a Wide Range Humbucker that reads 9.63 ohms and a killer Tele bridge pickup that comes in at 7.4 ohms.   The combination is deadly.  This isn't your grandpa's Wide Range Humbucker - it has and articulate smoothness that combines well with the Tele bridge.  And it's in mint as new condition with all the goodies.  Action is set at a perfect 1.8 mm on the low E and 1.5 mm on the high E.  Perfectly intonated and professionally set up.  

The nut measures 1.65", neck depth is .93"-1.0" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  25.5" Scale, 7.25" Radius, 6.04 lbs.  No disappointments.
