The Gibson LG-2 All Mahogany Faded in Vintage Sunburst is a great choice for players who want the tone and comfort of a small-body acoustic, with the added warmth of an all-mahogany build. It's a nod to Gibson's wartime-era LG-2s that occasionally featured mahogany tops, now reimagined for the modern player. Whether you're a singer-songwriter, folk player, or blues picker, this is a guitar that delivers a focused, rounded tone with a whole lot of character.

The construction is all solid mahogany top, back, and sides, paired with traditional scalloped X-bracing. That combination gives you a smoother, warmer sound than you'd get with a spruce top, especially well-suited for fingerstyle and vocal accompaniment. It's also got an LR Baggs VTC pickup system factory- installed, so it's ready to plug in for the stage or studio with intuitive volume and tone controls tucked right at the soundhole.

With a comfortable rounded neck profile and compact body size, this LG-2 is easy to hold and fun to play for long sessions. The Grover tuners and bone saddle keep tuning solid, while the teardrop pickguard and faded sunburst finish give it a distinctly vintage vibe. We like this one because it fills that unique spot in your acoustic lineup-great for recording, light gigging, or just playing on the couch.
