The Bubinga wood launched by Tama onto the market is becoming increasingly popular as a material for drum boilers. Because of their ultra-high density, Bubinga kettle deliver lush, fat bass and deep, dark tones.
Star Bubinga Kessel are much thinner than their Starclassic Pendants. All boilers are 4.5 mm thick, including the bass drums and snare drums. These thinner boilers allow the Bubinga material to vibrate freely, which significantly improves the response. All Star Bubinga boilers are equipped with 9 mm thick sound FOCUS Rings (SFR), which ensure a clear projection and a clear sustain and strengthen the sound.
