This is a transparent Overdrive, but it is very versatile. Plug it into your favorite amp on a clean setting, engage the footswitch, and you'll get an instant volume boost. Although it has plenty enough drive to break up on a clean setting, where this pedal truly shines is when you dial in the gain on your amp to just slightly into overdrive territory. Engage the Medium Pace and dial in whatever tone your heart desires. Got a Tele? Throw a compression pedal in front of the signal chain and it can do twangy country licks. Got a Strat? It can do warm, smooth blues. The Medium Pace loves Humbuckers too. Crank the volume and gain, flip over to your neck pickup, and we're into hard rock and punk lands. Wanna take it a step further still? Crank the gain on your amp even higher and it can handle some Metal too!
