2004 Fender Custom Shop Lacewood Stratocaster from '04 NAMM and brought to the UK for the 2004 Fender Custom Shop Tour where this was sold at the London date for the equivalent of over $5,000 twenty one years ago! The guitar has lived in its case ever since than as a time capsule and "Case Queen." This is a 1 of 1 guitar never made before or since. In 2004, Fender made about six Lacewood Stratocasters. They came in different colors and had different pick guards. This is the only one that was orange and had a clear, turned aluminum pick guard. The guitar looks absolutely incredible in person. No one else has anything like this. If you want to distinguish yourself as an artist visually on stage and sonically in the studio, this is the perfect guitar to accomplish that mission. If you want an incredible piece of functional art for your collection, this is also a fantastic choice. I think any reasonable person would qualify this guitar as mint, but I am selling it as Excellent in case there any minor marks I have missed. It is a beautiful guitar unlike any other ever made by Fender.
