Ibanez SR1000 Custom PJ Precision Jazz Soundgear Bass upgraded substantially to a passive pickup system with a custom German Häussel Jazz Bass pickup (€185) and 2008 USA Lollar Precision Bass spit-coil pickup ($160). The infrastructure has been expertly preserved if the artist wants to go back to the 4-pot control system and add active electronics in the future and use the 9v battery box. I think this setup is way better and gives you one of the most unique pro basses in the world that plays and sounds like nothing anyone else has. Beautiful abalone oval inlays reserved for Ibanez's flagship basses. Gold Gotoh tuners and AccuCast-B IV high mass bridge. Stunning 5-piece wenge/bubinga neck. Minor marks from 30 years of life, but extremely presentable and will look amazing on stage and in the studio. Comes with premium Hiscox hard case.
