FINAL MARKDOWN made to $10,500!

Hello! I have a MINT Museum-Quality 1962 Fender Princeton Amp that I am ready to let go!  It's an original 6G2 Princeton. The LL code on the tube chart puts it @ December of 1962.

I purchased this at an estate sale--this amp has been sitting covered in a closet for 60 years.

There's a thread on the TDPRI forums with images and discussion about the amp--Reverb won't let me link it.

I wrote to Fender and here was their reply:

Thanks for reaching out. The brownface Princetons are very desirable and have good value in the used market. The tremolo circuit on these was particularly good, and the release of the Chris Stapleton signature version has really put a focus back on these amps.  I can't tell from the pictures provided that here is anything particularly unique about this specific amp. The speaker is certainly not one that would have come with the amp originally, but it does appear to be period correct. Whether it is stock from the factory or installed later is difficult to say as swapping out speakers was pretty common for Princetons with a lot of folks putting in a 12" speaker to replace the 10". Having said that, it sounds and looks like the original owner didn't even engage with the amp enough to find the need to swap out the speaker, so I would lean toward the speaker being factory issue.  While Fender does not participate in the used or vintage market and can't provide any approximate collectors value, you may want to consider reaching out to some respected vintage dealers. However it pans out, the 62 Princeton is an absolute classic.

With the 12" factory issue speaker, this is a super-rare classic. Even has the original masking tape on the original footswitch, which although never used, has a few light scuffs on it. This is all original and again, has never been used.
