Do you have an early 1980s Gibson Corvus II and want a new pickguard? Here it is!
This is a custom pickguard we cut to order in our shop from a variety of materials and colors specifically for the Gibson Corvus.
The original Corvus pickguards are a non-beveled single ply black with small black round head screws instead of the normal countersunk oval head screws seen on most other Gibsons. We can cut a stock looking replacement but why not put something nicer on it?
Shown first is 3 ply black/orange/black, a killer choice on the orange finish. Another great choice is 5 ply black/cream/black/cream/black, as shown in the second set of pics. Some materials can be cut with a wide 60s Fender style bevel, as shown in the third set of pics with the orange center laminate. It looks great, costs a bit more.
Finally, we are able to cut this for different pickup and control layouts. The last set of pics shows a humbucker conversion guard.
Have a look at the color chips for examples of other materials. Ask if we have the color you're looking for.
We can cut this for the stock round head screws with no countersink or can countersink the holes for standard Gibson oval head screws. Ask us to countersink if you will be using something other than the original screws.
The stock mounting holes for this listing will not have a countersink. If you need a countersink on the mounting holes, please ask.
