Here we have a wonderful '59 Les Paul Tom Murphy Aged from 2009! This Custom Shop build is in excellent condition with some upgraded parts.

Specs include a figured maple top, mahogany body, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. It has an ABR-1 bridge with stop tailpiece, with dual humbuckers and volume/tone controls for each pickup. It has a 12" radius, 1.6875" nut width and a 24.75" scale length.

The pickups have been swapped to a set of Bare Knuckle Mules. The pickup surrounds are Vintage Spec Aged White "Bone" M-69 rings. The knobs are Vintage Spec Gold Top Hats. The tuners are a lightly aged Kluson Deluxe set with correct translucent buttons (as opposed to the original green button tuners). The rest of the parts and aging are factory original. The original parts and pickups are not included.

The guitar is 8lbs 9oz and well balanced. The neck measures .935 to 1.040 at the 1st and 12th. It's a chunky, full neck with a decent shoulder about it, a touch bigger than most modern Historic '59 Reissues feel. The guitar has great resonance and growls when you dig in. It has a woody punch off the body and plays great up and down the neck. The top is fantastic and strong from all angles. The hand-aged finish is all Tom Murphy, back when he was doing them personally. One of the finer 1959 reissue guitars we have had.

This one includes the COA, hang tags, truss rod tool, and paperwork. Ships in a more recent Custom Shop Lifton style case.
