Fredric Effects Super Unpleasant Companion Nouveau Fuzz Pedal. This a a more compact version of the Classic Super Unpleasant Companion with controls on the front face.
The Super Unpleasant Companion Nouveau improves upon the original design of the FY-2 by strengthening the enclosure to make it more road ready, however they're still manufactured to the original size. The sleek, understated appearance hides on the rear of the pedal a tone switch for the FY-6, a big toggle to switch between the two pedal circuits, as well as two control knobs for setting volume/gain/tone/sustain depending on which mode you're on.
With some of the most devastating transistor fuzz you'll ever hear contained inside, The Super Unpleasant Companion Nouveau does just what it says on the tin, except you'll find it far from unpleasant!
Fredric Effects is owned by the two guitarists of London alt rock band The Sailplanes, and focus on naught but recreating vintage boutique effects at a highly affordable price, while ensuring the most supreme of build qualities that last the test of time!
