Built on the iconic L-00 platform but reimagined through Dana Bourgeois’ legendary voicing lens, the L-DBO offers a percussive, three-dimensional voice that defies its dimensions.

The Touchstone L-DBO Standard is the ultimate "player's guitar." It features a Torrefied Alaskan Sitka Spruce top, hand-voiced and tap-tuned in Bourgeois’ Lewiston, Maine workshop. By heat-treating the soundboard to mimic decades of play-time, Bourgeois ensures this guitar arrives with a "broken-in" resonance and a wide-open dynamic range.

Paired with select Mahogany back and sides, the L-DBO produces a dry, woody fundamental with a punchy midrange that is ideal for country blues, fingerstyle, and aggressive flatpicking alike. Unlike traditional small-body guitars that can feel "tight," the L-DBO utilizes a 25” short scale length and Dana’s specific 1/4” top bracing to produce surprising power and low-end presence.

Finished in a breathtaking Vintage Sunburst and appointed with a Ziricote fingerboard and bridge, the L-DBO is a masterclass in understated elegance. This is the "Touchstone" of the small-body world—offering 100% of the Bourgeois soul and response in a comfortable, stage-ready package.
