Original vintage c 1990 Westerly, RI USA made guild JF-55 in gorgeous playing condition, complete with original case and manual!
These old pre-fender guilds are amazing axes, absolute top craftsmanship and tonewoods, true lifetime quality instruments. This fine example is no exception, and plays absolutely effortlessly, with a big, detailed, enveloping 3D voice. The neck is arrow straight, and lighting fast, original frets excellent, and action is low and supple, with perfect intonation. Keeper.
Cosmetically, she’s quite lovely indeed, with all of guild’s deluxe appointments and flourishes; double pearl inlays, bound everything, Grover tuners, and of course, incredible tight grained solid spruce top, and rosewood back and sides. No cracks, breaks, repairs, or funny business, light and natural lacquer and play wear only.
