D Z Strad Cello - Model 600 - Cello Outfit (New - Shipping Crack) (4/4 Size)

The Model 600 is a beautifully handcrafted cello made of select, figured flame maple and features a tightly grained carved Spruce top.  This cello is a finely crafted handmade instrument executed by Silver Award winning luthiers of the Violin Society of America. The oil varnish is hand-rubbed and antiqued to give the instrument an aged, vintage appearance.  These elegantly antiqued cellos have an incredibly even, round tone with a warm, smooth, and focused sound.The tonewood is naturally dried outside on a covered, ventilated area for 10 years. The wood is then placed into a drying room, consistent with old world traditional European practices. This process ensures that the wood will not open or expand, and guarantees overall stability.

This Full Size Model 600 cello is brand new but sustained a soundpost crack during shipping to us. The crack has been expertly repaired by our in-house luthier and the instrument is now structurally sound and performance-ready. There are also a few slight dings on the back. A great opportunity to own a premium cello at a reduced price.
