Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting...
A really cool, 1975 Epiphone FT-120 Guitar, made in Japan and includes the original Soft Shell Case Very good condition...check those pics!
These Matsumoku made, Blue label, Japanese guitars were made from 1971 thru 1975...See the lBack plate in pic 7.
Here's some info on these cool guitars from the Epiphone page..
Epiphone 1975-1987
The Aria Epiphone Japan models that were made by Matsumoku from the early 1970s and ending before 1987 do not have a reliable serial numbering system but can be approximately dated using their Epiphone label colours.
1971-1975 - Blue label - Early models say "Union Made"
1976-1979 - Tan or white "Lincolnwood" label with Norlin logo
1980-1987 - Brown Label with splotched pattern
We cleaned it up, put new Phosphorus Bronze 11's on it and set her up...excellent action all the way up the fretboard. These guitars with the bolt on necks are great for setups. You can always shim the necks if you need too. This one only needed the adjustable bridge lowered a little. It plays and sounds great. X bracing on this relatively inexpensive guitar makes it a great deal.
The guitar is all original to include the bridge, pickguard, Nut, and the cool tuners. Truss rod cover and back plate. Don't forget the original case with this one!
The guitar has a 24 1/2 inch scale neck with a nut that measures a full 1 3/4 inches. It has a zero fret and the body measures 15 1/4 inches at the lower bout. Its in beautiful shape. Only a couple scratches or dings on the back. Just player wear thoughout.
Check out that awesome original Soft Shell Case. Almost as nice as the guitar. All the latches, hinges and original handle are still with it. It even still has the accessory box inside. No lid for the accessory box...of course... A really cool case for your cool Epi guitar!
Its a used guitar. It is sold as is no returns. Thanks for respecting that.
