A fully restored and incredible vintage mono synth from Arp. The Axxe is one of the most approachable and easily manipulated synths of this era. It's a fabulous studio tool for that reason. Endlessly creative, but also approachable for folks experimenting while making music. An absolute joy for veterans of the Axxe as well!

This is a pretty simple, easy to work with mono synth. It features a single oscillator, allowing you to quickly dial in great sounds. I love making "Dre" style high flutey tones with this, and it's also MARVELOUS for Stevie Wonder style old school funky bass sounds. 

This was restored by the electronics tech of Chicago Electric Piano. He has worked on many vintage ARP synths and did a fantastic restoration on this synth. New key bushings, lots of recapping, power supply rebuilding, calibrating, key leveling, slider cleaning, more calibrating. It's thoroughly gone over and ready to reliably rock for many many years to come. Sliders are smooth as silk, action feels great, and best of all, it all operates like a brand new corvette. If a corvette was a sweet synth.

Cosmetically, it's in great shape. There is some honest wear, most notably on the bass/left side leather pad. See pics, they illustrate everything pretty well.
