This incredible '62 Jazz Bass came to us from the second owner who bought it from the original owner in '68. Modifications include replaced pots, rewound pickups, replaced pickguard screws, a refinished neck with a 70s decal with a penciled-in 1-62 neck date, a replaced nut, and new frets. Thanks to the updates, the beautiful slab board neck plays beautifully, and the electronics function perfectly. The overall aesthetic of this bass would be impossible to replicate without years of love and play. All of this wear made this bass super resonant and lively; it is perfectly channeled, plays beautifully, and sounds fantastic. Purchase includes non-original 60's Fender hardshell case.
