This is a beautiful and really clean late 50s Hofner President Guitar... Very similar to George Harrisons guitar that he used in the Quarrymen. It has the same compensator tailpiece, neck inlays and headstock inlay (this one has the Hofner Logo). This one is electric with two black bar pickups. All parts appear to be original. Minimal nicks and dings, very minor checking on back and no cracks. This guitar is a joy to play electrically or acoustically. The neck is nice a straight, the action is very low, no buzzing. Great for jazz or rock and roll. Comes with Guild Style hard-shell case. The guitar fits like a glove
