Never equate inexpensive with cheap. This bass is a bargain but it's not a 'cheap' bass. Made in the USA, and a total pro-level bass. Fit and finish is top notch. Excellent quality hardware and electronics. Has the TBC Black Box Pre-amp, controls are V/B/M/T. STUPID LIGHT at 7.4 lbs. The tone is thunderous, action is super low, nut is 1.5 across and shallow depth. Kinda reminds me of a better modern Ibanez. The pickguard and back cover are made of wood, not plastic. The bass has a sophistication with a touch of bohemian. Great bass, Great value. Has a nice gigbag. And yes, its a 34 scale.
Most of the time when you buy a guitar or bass from a store and it's 'in the box', the axe is looked at, made sure it was in 1 piece and put back. EVERY item sold by us has a thorough inspection and a complete set up. If the strings are stale they are replaced. If batteries are near exp date - they are changed. That is the Kebo's advantage.
