Up for sale is a super rare Epiphone Japan SG LQ in heritage cherry finish. This is part of the hugely desired Lacquer Series made by Fujigen for only 3 years during 2004 - 2007. As indicated by the LQ in the model name, this SG is painted with a lacquer topcoat.
These LQ models were only authorised by Gibson for this short period and are a more vintage-correct version of the Les Paul with a thin lacquer finish, vintage Kluson-style tuners and the open-book Gibson head-stock.

Overall, the guitar is in excellent condition. It has been played though! There are some small marks that are difficult to photograph, but it's in great shape for an almost 20 year old guitar. There is one small chip on the back in the lacquer (see last photo). Not a big deal, but important to point out upfront.
