Vintage Fender Stratocaster / Telecaster Molded Case - Late 70’s - Black

Well fellow gearheads, age is kicking in and I’m unable to slow it so it’s time to start downsizing. I will be posting tons of high quality parts and guitars (some vintage) over the next few years. Please follow my shop for a jump on these great items!

So it’s Non-Functional as a guitar case but here’s the story. Way back in the 80’s I ripped out the innards, glued in some foam and used it as a Pedalboard case. Seems a bit boneheaded now but you have to remember there wasn’t a dozen companies making effects specific pedalboards with matching cases back then. The clasps, hinges and handle are all solid and work as they should. The aluminum edges and 4 metal bumpers are good as well and no cracks in the plastic. The pedalboard I had in there was very heavy too, I used 3/4” plywood and was packed with pedals I wish I still had. This is the larger molded case Fender made before they switched to the smaller 3 clasp version in the early 80’s. So, it is what it is and just been sitting around for 25 years so figured I’d post it. Has a lot of sticker residue, if you want to take the time, it may be removable with some solvent. See pictures for estimated interior dimensions. Shipping cost may be set high. If you overpay, I will refund you the difference. Offering local pick up as well.
