Collings I-35 Deluxe – Pelham Blue w/ OHSC (c.2023)
This Collings I-35 Deluxe in Pelham Blue is a stunning example of boutique craftsmanship blended with classic semi-hollow performance. The hand-carved mahogany body with a maple center block and carved maple top gives it a complex, resonant tone that remains articulate and balanced. The Deluxe trim features elegant grained ivoroid binding on the body, fingerboard, and peghead, as well as matching ivoroid knobs, pickup rings, and truss rod cover.
Tonally, the I-35 Deluxe is known for its sweet harmonic richness and natural clarity — it’s equally at home in jazz, blues, or overdriven rock tones. This one is in excellent condition, with virtually no fret wear and only a minor, purely cosmetic finish checking in a few areas (see photos) that you can’t feel to the touch. It plays effortlessly and includes the original deluxe hard shell case. Upgraded with a set of ThroBack pickups!
