INTERCHANGEABLE PREAMP

Turn on a Synergy Morgan AC preamp and enjoy the exceptional flexibility that makes Morgan AC amps a musician's favorite. The AC module was designed by Joe Morgan himself to reproduce all the details and sound of his own amplifiers. You'll find two sonically similar channels that, unlike amplifiers, allow you to quickly switch between AC sounds on the fly. Two 12AX7 preamp tubes provide British character and a clean tonal breakup. Each channel features a bright switch that allows you to tailor the preamp to your individual guitars. If you're only happy with the AC sound, plug in your Synergy Morgan AC preamp. The Synergy AC preamp has two channels, each with gain and volume knobs, as well as a brightness switch. Both channels share a three-band EQ.

CATHODE SELECTOR SWITCH:

The Morgan AC module features a three-position switch that configures the low-frequency response of the input tubes to match the original circuitry of the selected module (patent pending). This affects the feel and accuracy. Each amp designer uses a specific combination of components for their input tube circuitry. We've selected the three most common combinations, accessible via this switch. This module is preset to Joe Morgan's choice of position 1 for the AC module (1.5 kΩ resistor and 22 µF capacitor). Synergy hardware and interchangeable preamps are protected by a U.S. patent.
