A 2010 Gibson Custom Shop Collector's Choice #1 Melvyn Franks 1959 Les Paul VOS with Faded Sunburst finish. From a limited series of 300 guitars in VOS finish, this guitar is a reproduction of the 1959 Les Paul Standard once belonging to Fleetwood Mac's Peter Green and later to guitar powerhouse Gary Moore. Melvyn Franks purchased the guitar from Moore. The guitar is now owned and played by Kirk Hammett of Metallica.
