Russ McKinnon's Tower of Power, Sabian - 14" AA Fusion Hi Hats 1684g, 1088g (RM S #6)
From the Russ McKinnon Drum and Cymbals Collection.
Performing over 3,000 major concert events in over 40 countries, Russ McKinnon has sat in some of the most desired and demanding drum chairs in the music industry. Playing and recording with some of the biggest names in the business, this humble sideman's legendary lineup of headliners and top producers is clearly impressive. Tower of Power, Joe Cocker, Barry Manilow, David Foster, Phil Ramone, Clive Davis, Elton John and Bette Midler are just the tip of the iceberg.
Russ McKinnon used these 14" Fusion Hats extensively in live performances with Tower of Power during his tenure with the band from 1989 to 1995. They are well played but remain in excellent condition with no issues.
Super crisp foot "chick", nice stick definition and open wash. These hi-hats are particularly adept at cutting through dense mixes, which makes them popular with fusion, funk, and even metal players.
They are signed on the bottom hat by Russ!
Weights:
Top - 1,088 Grams
Bottom - 1,684 Grams
Includes a COA signed by Russ McKinnon.
