Offering a vintage and rare first generation 1930's Electro Voice V1 Ribbon Microphone. These were first released in 1934, and came in both this size and a larger version. This is the first smaller version (1st generation) V1 I have ever come across. It has been physically restored with refreshed paint and new screen cloth. The original drive was shot, (demagnetized and failed transformer,) so we have installed a brand new ribbon drive producing a high quality audio profile. (Voice sample can be heard on the listing viceo.)

     The mic stand threads are in good shape as well as the front and rear mesh screens, and the original side thumbnuts hold the tilt angle firmly in place.
