Original vintage c 1980 Tokai “silver star” strat in excellent playing condition. These Tokais are incredible axes, head and shoulders above anything fender USA was producing at the time (or since, imho), and represent the absolute zenith of Japanese craft, treasured by players and collectors alike, and becoming rarer by the day. I would happily put this against any Fullerton Stratocaster out there.
The neck is arrow straight and scary fast, frets excellent, and she’s a joy in the hands. The original pickups are pure magic, and this thing just screams.
Cosmetically, she’s very nice indeed, with lots of vintage mojo, play and finish wear; all deserved, all included at no extra charge. Ships in a quality gig bag, not pictured.
