This bass has served me extremely well on countless recordings. It's playability and overall feel are incredible. I would keep this forever if it were a P-Bass or Mustang, but unfortunately, it does not give me the precise, dead 'thump' that I'm looking for in a recording bass.
I haven't replaced these strings in about 10 years (intentionally), so if you are looking for less brightness & a vintage feel, this one's got it.
It has some cosmetic blemishes, cracks in the paint, and a couple of slightly-bent tuners, all of which have existed for at least 10 years - most of which should be expected for a bass that is nearing vintage status (almost 30 years old). It has been looked at by a luthier and determined that it's structural integrity is perfect. It has beautiful intonation up and down the neck and wonderfully-low action.
Feel free to reach out with any questions! I
